Facility Update

FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT NYTEX SPORTS CENTRE

NYTEX Sports Centre requires all general public, guests, competitors, and employees to wear face masks within the Centre at all times. NYTEX Sports Centre reserves the right to refuse service to any person(s) refusing to comply with local ordinances.

Face masks will be required in all Tarrant County businesses and at outdoor gatherings with more than 100 people, County Judge Glen Whitley announced Thursday. The executive order goes into effect at 6 p.m. Friday June 26, 2020.

Dear NYTEX Families:

NYTEX Sports Centre Management would like to thank our families for their compliance to our mandatory facial mask order. While most of our families are great about making sure they have a mask on, we still have a few that forget to put one on.

Our hockey programs are ramping up for their fall season, we want to reach out to our great families and remind them to protect each other and wear a mask at Nytex. Jr. Brahmas and High School teams have all started their practices. We see strong compliance when athletes, and families come into NYTEX Sports Centre. However, once practice ends and players exit, there have been times where athletes have forgotten their masks.

Help us be courteous when we remind our athletes and families to wear a mask. Together we all make NYTEX Sports Centre safe, and a great facility for all families. #MaskUP

Thank you,
NYTEX Sports Centre Management

PREVIOUS UPDATES:

Most of the NYTEX Sports Centre programs and clinics have fully resumed as of today. Per State of Texas regulations, Shower Rooms remain closed. For the comfort of our participants, we have moved staging areas out of the lobby and into designated areas with signage to help participants locate those areas. It is strongly recommended that our participants arrive at the facility wearing as much of their gear as possible.

Open Skate, Open Hockey, Freestyle Skate, Skate School, Adult Drop-in and Friday Night Ice (resumes Friday June 5, 2020 at 6:45pm) are all available for online purchase on our website home page. MITE Jam Sessions and Summer Select (formerly Spring Select) Hockey have resumed and coaches are getting in touch with players regarding roster assignments. Those assignments will be posted on our website in the appropriate locations and on our social media outlets.

Adult League Hockey is set to return to the ice in the coming days and more information is available via Team Coordinators and the social media group forums.

Summer Sports Camp is now enrolling for the short summer term of only five weeks, starting July 6th and concluding the week of August 7, 2020. Contact Karen directly for more information at 817.520.3302 and read all about the program here.

NYTEX Sports Centre will continue to post updates on the facility here and on social media. We truly appreciate all of the support and encouragement during this entire process. Thank you for all your patience and understanding and we look forward to brighter days ahead.
