Skate Academy
To develop every one of our NYTEX Skate Academy skaters to become more proficient skaters, we have blended concepts from two nationally-accredited learn-to-skate programs – Ice Skating Institute and US Figure Skating’s Basic Skills.
The NYTEX Skate Academy is a program that can be joined at any time. Registrants will be tested frequently throughout the course of the semester, and skaters will progress through the levels as they master the required skills. Please note that the average student will need 2-3 months per level to master every skill set.

Competitor’s Club
Your days of looking for a private lesson instructor are over! Competitor’s Club Members get access to group training sessions with a multitude of qualified trainers. Our instructors will cut and choreograph your child’s program for free once you join the NYTEX Competitor’s Club whether you decide to compete or not.
Join a community of dedicated figure skaters who are determined to raise the bar. The encouraging group atmosphere helps everyone learn better and have more fun! Your child will be ISI tested by gold level judges who will help develop a series of exercises to meet your child’s learning goals. Experience the individual attention of a private tutor, while enjoying the fun group atmosphere!
Your child will have the opportunity to display their achievements on the back of their Skate Academy Jacket from the sports shop.
