NYTEX Competitor's Club

Your days of looking for a private lesson instructor are over! Competitor’s Club Members get access to group training sessions with a multitude of qualified trainers. Our instructors will cut and choreograph your child’s program for free once you join the NYTEX Competitor’s Club whether you decide to compete or not.

Join a community of dedicated figure skaters who are determined to raise the bar. The encouraging group atmosphere helps everyone learn better and have more fun! Your child will be ISI tested by gold level judges who will help develop a series of exercises to meet your child’s learning goals. Experience the individual attention of a private tutor, while enjoying the fun group atmosphere!

Your child will have the opportunity to display their achievments on the back of their Skate Academy Jacket from the sports shop.

Class includes itinerary, testing, music, and choreography.

Thursdays: 5-5:30 Power & Conditioning
5:30-6 Synchro Elements/Group Program Practice
Fridays: 5-5:30 Free Skate
5:30-6:30 Practice
Sundays: 1-2 Off Ice Stretching/Jumping/Conditioning
2:15-3:15 Freestyle Class
3:15-3:45 Power/Footwork/Spin Class
3:45-4:15 Individual Practice

Velocity Sports Performance is the ultimate training that offers you a chance to be coached by world-class performance coaches who have trained professional and Olympic-level athletes. For 10 weeks, the Competitor's club will be working with Velocity Sports Performance coaches.
