  • NYTEX ADULT HOCKEY NEWS - In the spirit of the 2008 Summer Olympics, The NYTEX Senior Hockey League has been divided into three leagues, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.  For the 2008 Summer Session, The Gold League will consist of Epic Tattoo, Blue, Brahmas, Patron Tequila, Frogs, Wolf Pack, Leprechauns, and Young Guns. The Silver League teams will be Mayhem, Hornets, Jedi, Borrachos, Spartans, Beerflyers, and Ice Dogs. Finally, The Bronze League teams will be Ice Gators, Spider Monkeys, Arc Angels, Keller Indians, Jaguars, and Stingers.   • "GOALIE CAMP" - Come join professional goalies Brett Jaeger and Ron Vogel, along with Brahmas head Coach Dan Wildfong, for 15 hours of on-ice instruction, classroom sessions, and dry-land training goalie camp from July 14th-18th, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the NYTEX Sports Center.   • "HOCKEY CLINIC" - Three separate sessions will be available for hockey players of all ages, from Mites to Midgets.  Camp will be the week of July 14th - 18th and will be at different times, please check with your registration page for correct dates and times.

  • WEST RINK UPDATE - Because the NYTEX Sports Centre is so versatile, the West ice was removed to explore other opportunities during the slower summer months.  Don't worry hockey fanatics, the ice will be put back in   late July, well before the fall hockey season starts.  For now, the West Rink is available for off-ice hockey training, floor hockey, roller hockey, and even dodge ball.  Please contact Scott Plourde (Director of Sales) for more information.  Other considerations include basketball and indoor soccer.

  • NYTEX TRAINING FACILITY - The NYTEX Sports Centre is proud to introduce their new off-ice training facility located in the volleyball arena.  The facility is available to NYTEX Sports Centre youth and adult players upon request.

 Jr. Brahmas Youth Hockey Association

  • Under the leadership of the NYTEX Sports Centre, Jr. Brahmas Hockey will enter the 2008-2009 as The Texas Brahmas Youth Hockey Association.  News and information regarding the Jr. Brahmas can now be found on the web at www.jrbrahmashockey.com.

 NYTEX Skating Academy

  • SUMMER ACADEMY REGISRATION - The 2008 Summer Session begins May 22nd and goes through August 2nd.  The camp includes 10 classes for only $125.  Classes begin next week, so hurry while registration is still open.  CLICK HERE for class times and registration form.

 Texas Pond Hockey Association

  • POND HOCKEY - The 2008 Season of Texas Pond Hockey has begun. Scheduled times are as follows (All times are subject to change):

    • Bronze Division (Squirt/Pee Wee) - 9:15 am - 10:30 am

    • Silver Division (Bantam/Midget) - 10:45 am - 12:00 pm

    • Gold Division (Ages 16-25) - 12:15 pm - 1:30 pm

    • Playing Dates - 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, 8/3, 8/10 (Sundays)

Texas Pond Hockey

 

Texas Pond Hockey has begun. Playing dates are all on Sundays and include 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, 8/3, and 8/10. Scheduled times are as follows:

 

Bronze - 9:15am-10:30am

Silver - 10:45am-12:00pm

Gold - 12:15pm-1:30pm

Stick & Puck

NYTEX Sports Centre is now offering starting June 18th, 9 sessions for $129. All classes will be on Wednesday nights and they will be an hour long. CLICK HERE for class times and registration form.

Senior Hockey League

Bronze League News
